Having said I don't have the name of the kennels there is the fact that only a few private kennels have that sort of agreement with the councils and you will usually find your local dog rehoming centres know which these are then its only a process of elimination as most kennels will allow you to see there establishments if you tell them you are considering using them when you go on holiday a quick look round could be all you need to find him at least then you will know where he is xx
Nannette hi thats good idea but you might find that they have a private block where public are not allowed in, when i worked in newcaslte looking after the pbt waiting to go to court they were in private block that was kept locked and public wernt allowed in as they had to keep the dogs out of public eye.

Hi Jackie that is very true they do have to be segregated but it may reduce it down to about 3or 4 kennels that are able to accept these dogs, looking at the pictures of where Lennox is kept its got to be a farm building of some sort and a shabby one at that ,that will probably reduce it even more then one you know the name of the kennel a few complaints to DARD may get there bum's into gear to get it checked, at the moment they are hiding behind the fact they don't know which kennel it is so cant say how long ago it was checked I know it might sound a bit of a long shot but it may work

 Re: Next Steps...
My name is Linda Allman and I'm from the US. I only became aware of the plight of Lennox late last year and was horrified. We have fought bsl here but never on the level you have. In fact, our state Supreme Court here in Oklahoma recently ruled that a long standing pbt ban in a major community was illegal and overuled it! My question is this, what do you feel would be the best way I can help? I've recruited, posted, signed, talked, begged and cajoled. How do you feel I can be most useful?

 Re: Next Steps...
I have heard there can only be one appeal. Is that correct?

And I know ROI have plenty of abuse cases with animals going on, but the case with Lennox is a British rule. ROI and NI are ran by two different governments due to history stuff. I am sorry, I know this has nothing to do with Lennox, but it was hurts me to see people write things about Ireland even though it has nothing to do with our ruling at all. End rant. Sorry

Sorry No need to be sorry Rachie I understand what you are saying I don't think it's Ireland or Northern Ireland people want to get at its just a case of people realise that as with any council anywhere they are all stubborn and the only way to hurt them as much as they are hurting the family is to hit them in their pockets and tourism is the only weapon I don't think it has anything to do with anything else just a case of people using the only leverage they have to try to make them sit up and listen to their plea,

 Re: Next Steps...
You're completely right, tourism is the only way to get back at these people, and it is the only way to get the point across. They wouldn't care for anything else. I just hated to think, say French, Chinese or American people wouldn't visit Galway for example, due to Lennox's case in Belfast.
