Re: New Member? Introduce Yourself Here
Hi everyone! I'm Liz I'm 31 and my furbaby is Luci. I cannot imagine how much you must miss Lennox, and her you! I'm from Miami, Florida where Pits are illegal and either way this city is not very dog friendly, quite the opposite in fact. Even the animal shelters here find this whole ban business ridiculous- and when do get pitties (and they DO get them very, very often!) they put them under 'terrier mix' so that they have a chance at finding a home! Due to the severe lack of education it's a very hard fight to have people see that pitties are good and it's the HUMANS not the dogs that are at fault. I found this site while searching for information on pitties and I cried (literally- I'm a sap!) when I read Lennox's story. I look forward to hearing about the day when Lennox gets to go home! In the meantime let me know of anything that I can do from here- sign anything, call anyone... I don't care what it is!! Much Love, Liz and Luci

Hi Liz, welcome to our forum and thank you for your kind words of support. All we ask of each member who reads Lennox's story is to tell one other person and sign his petition that way the story of this injustice for Lennox and many other BSL victims will spread around the globe and then hopefully these silly stupid rule makers will take note.
Thank you Liz for becoming a member of this forum and a Lennox supporter!

Hello AlleyCat! Yes Amanda how are you. Thanks for doing that and your kind messages of support. Caroline has been offline the last few days but I shall pass your message to her, she will probably email you anyway.

 KMB - New Member
Hi,
My name is Karen and I live just outside Glasgow with husband and 3 kids.
I am the proud owner of a 1 year old (still just a puppy) something or other, not sure what. He is our baby although he's big and always will be cos actually he's totally dependent on us.
I heard about Lennox from the RSPCA website. Some RSPCA members had written replies on their blog to their dog licence proposals and in several replies the Lennox case was cited. I didn't know what they were talking about although it seemed everyone else did, so I typed Lennox into a new tab and found the petition. I am very glad I did find out about Lennox (and Bruce, and the as yet unknown others).
I will try to spread the word of course but I thought I should also join this forum (after signing the petition of course) because firstly, what is happening to Lennox is cruel beyond belief, and secondly, no other dog, animal or family should ever be put through this.
On a lighter note, if you check out the RSPCA website, join (free) and sign up for the blog, (a rather tricky process I found) a particularly good comment can be found under the name pauldeed dated September 13, - it is headed up "Sledge hammers and nuts spring to mind!" and that's only a comment on a proposed dog licence!!
I have still to comment on the RSPCA website but will be doing so verrry soon and mentioning Lennox and the petition/campaign (just in case there's someone newer than me who doesn't know!).
Right enough about me just now - intro over.
Look forward to talking to you all soon.
K.

Re: New Member? Introduce Yourself Here
Evening Karen, very nice to have you onboard and showing your much welcomed and appreciated support for Lennox and others like him. I'm sure other members will say Hi as and when they log in. I will have a look at the RSPCA website shortly as we were unaware until reading your intro post that Lennox had featured or mentioned on their site so thank you for making that known to us. In the meantime thanks for joining and enjoy posting!
