Thanks for the information; we have heard of a lot of dogs that have been killed due to Yolanda Elwood’s mistakes, although if you talk to her and her staff they have never made a mistake in their lives. We haven't heard of this one though so thank you for bringing it to our attention. If you are able to sign Lennox's petition, send emails to the Belfast City Council, spread his story, that would be brilliant help to ourselves and Lennox. I came home today to a letter from the council that my local MP has forwarded to me. Evil Yolanda Elwood Manager of Belfast City Council Dog Wardens department has again complained about our "sustained public campaign" her words, followed up in the next sentence by: "we will not grant visitation rights with Lennox regardless of how many months/years that he may be in Council custody" It seems that Evil Elwood is more concerned about the truth getting out and the fact that she is receiving global bad press than she is concerned about Lennox's well being, as through out all of her letters to MP's and our solicitor she only refers to Lennox as... it. What horrific condition is Lennox in that Evil Elwood doesn't want anyone she doesn't employ to see.

Just seen this on Lennoxs facebook pages and its all over the internet now, so many people are real angry and outraged at this new news. belfast city council should be ashamed at what they have done, personally i wouldn't like to be in any of they're staff's shoes after this. i pasted the latest news about lennoxs warrant of seizure below:

On the day Belfast City Council seized innocent Lennox they produced a warrant of seizure, the warrant Belfast City Council Dog Wardens produced was not only the wrong type of warrant for a seizure but completely for another address at another part of Belfast. In actual fact Belfast City Council removed Lennox illegally... They stole him!
Instead of admitting they have made yet another major blunder in this case and returning Lennox to his home Belfast City Council have instead decided to throw vast amounts of cash at this case by flying so called dog breed experts from mainland UK in an aid to secure a death sentence for Lennox and hopefully by winning their case Belfast City Council Dog Wardens department can cover up the major continuous errors and lies they have made and told regarding Lennox's case.

I'm so mad at this whole situation and the fact that I wrote a really long e-mail to one of the e-mail addresses but it won't allow me to send it because I only have a hotmail account which is not elligible or something. I'm so sorry.
BSL is not efficient. Even if Lennox was a Pit Bull, just because a dog comes from a certain breed does not make it aggressive or dangerous. If a dog is aggressive it is because that is the nature of that individual dog, and this goes fro all breeds from Rottweilers to Chihuahuas. I, myself, own a Rottweiler that many would take a glance at and assume he is aggressive but in actual fact he is the most kind-nature, loveable, timid creature I have ever met. My Jack Russel is more dangerous than him.
I think it is time the Belfast County Councils, and all councils across the UK and Ireland, cease being ignorant and open their eyes to the cruelty they are committing and the hardship they are causing both animals and people. What if we decided to "destroy" all people of a certain height and age or people with aggressive natures. The population would fall dramatically. We, as human beings and carers of this earth, need to prove that we have brains of logic and just decisions as well as hearts of love and compassion.

gutted for you. have you had him checked by your own independent expert? Would be invaluable for you in court to definitly prove hes not a pitbull,looks like a mastiff cross to me but im no expert wish i was.lo ok up italian mastiff and see what i mean. also pictures of him in the family enviroment playing with your daughter etc would be good,the more you can show and prove the better. wishing you all the best and looking forward to lennox getting home!x
