Lennox’s Legacy: The Fight Will Continue

On 11th July 2012 Lennox was apparently murdered by Belfast City Council. Many people around the globe believe he was murdered long before this date and as Belfast City Council remain silent on everything Lennox related they only damage their own shambolic reputation further. The only words the public have heard from Belfast City Council since their cruel murder of innocent Lennox was from their mouthpiece SDLP councillor Pat McCarthy who Belfast City Council regularly wheel out from the depths of city hall chambers to attempt to justify council actions. McCarthy gave a drunk comedian like interview on BBC Radio Ulster’s Talk Back show hosted by Wendy Austin. Expert Victoria Stilwell also took part in the BBC Radio Ulster show on July 11th alongside Pat McCarthy. The interview did no favors for Belfast City Council or Pat McCarthy for that fact and clearly confirmed to the public Belfast City Council’s way of thinking. During the interview McCarthy, trying to justify Belfast City Council’s evil and cruel actions revealed Belfast City Council basically acted on hearsay from some very questionable staff based at the councils contracted kennel. Maybe Belfast City Council should reconsider who they push out the front doors of city hall to speak on their behalf in future as their recent nominated councillor in the form of Pat McCarthy simply made the council look even more suspect and pathetic in the eyes of the public. During the radio interview bumbling McCarthy even stumbled and spluttered on occasion to get Lennox’s name correct and referred to Lennox as “Leonard.” At the end of the interview McCarthy even complained that he didn’t need to do the interview and could have easily “ducked this interview and kept my head down” as if he was doing the public a great honour or service by appearing on the show. Maybe Pat McCarthy can string a few sensible, understandable english words together to make a full sentence and tell Lennox’s family where his actual ashes are, where his collar, muzzle and lead are and when the family may get these items which are the legal property of the family or has the council now also resorted to theft?
The Lennox Campaign and Lennox’s family will not give up their campaign until all items belonging to Lennox have been returned to the family home and the truth about Lennox’s treatment at the hands of Belfast City Council and their contracted kennel is revealed, and it will be revealed! This website will remain online as a mark of respect to Lennox and as a source of information for everything BSL related which will be added in the coming weeks. The Lennox Campaign hope that this website will become a one stop shop for information on the Lennox case and for information on Breed Specific Legislation, to dispel the myths surrounding BSL and to promote the plight of other BSL victims from around the world who need public attention.
The Lennox Campaign and Lennox’s Family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported Lennox’s fight for life and who continue to give their support to the campaign against Breed Specific Legislation. The Barnes family also wish to thank everyone who sent heartfelt sympathy messages, cards and flowers during the days after Lennox’s reported murder and want all Lennox’s continued supporters to know that they don’t intend to give up fighting Breed Specific Legislation or their quest for the truth that Belfast City Council are so clearly working very hard to hide. The Lennox Campaign hopes that everyone around the globe who are against BSL will once again unite and stand side by side as we all fight Breed Specific Legislation. As a network of global campaigners, as a collective we can abolish this evil legislation.
Lennox You Are Loved, You United Many, You Helped Many, You Changed A Law, You Left A Legacy Behind, You Will Never Be Forgotten. Thank You Beautiful Boy. Rest In Peace.
