Statement By Lennox’s Family

We would like to thank everyone for the countless messages that we have received in the last 24 hours during what is a very difficult time for our family and for the support we have had from so many since Lennox was seized in 2010. The past two years have been extremely distressing for many reasons and we appreciate that this has been a very emotive case for dog lovers worldwide who have spoken out against the failings of Breed Specific Legislation. We take some comfort in the knowledge that we are not the only ones to be devastated by the recent ruling. We are in talks with our legal team and will make another statement in due course.

    Dear Barnes family,

    I can only imagine how exhausted, mentally, physically and emotionally, you must all be after two years of fighting without being able to get the results you and Lennox deserve. However, I really hope that with the support of your legal team and animal lovers worldwide, you will find the strength to carry on. Surely it can’t be over for Lennox. We are all behind you.     Lennox’s story has touched thousands of peoples hearts, we are all fighting with you Caroline for the release of your beloved pet. Dont give up on him, take it to the London Supreme Court, I read a story this morning about a gsd who got a reprieve after 3 and a half years. You have the backing of so many people, lots of them willing to donate to help you with legal fees and travelling expenses. PLEASE DONT GIVE UP ON YOUR BOY - WHERE THERES LIFE THERE IS HOPE :) LENNOX IS A LEGEND….take no notice of the negatives keep fighting for Lennox, Brooke your self, his supporters and all other dogs who are or could be in the same situation.     I Pray every night for the release of this boy, I say goodnight sweetdreams Lennox, and I always say good morning. Caroline, there is still hope for Lennox, PLease never give up on him, you have support from all over the world, the powers that be will stand up and listen! Keep fighting for your boy. Where theres life theres hope xxx
